• Calculate and display your Local Sidereal Time based on your location
• Display your approximate location name (via reverse geocoding)
• Convert manually entered location names to coordinates (via geocode.maps.co API)
• Provide the Site's core functionality

We do not:

• Store your location data on our servers
• Share your location data with third parties (except as necessary for geocoding services)
• Use your data for advertising or marketing
• Track your browsing behavior across other websites

Note: When you manually enter a location, your search query is sent to geocode.maps.co to retrieve coordinates. We do not store these queries, but geocode.maps.co may log requests according to their privacy policy.

Third-Party Services

Google Fonts

The Site uses Google Fonts to display fonts. When you visit, your browser may connect to Google's servers, which may collect standard web log data. See Google's Privacy Policy.

Reverse Geocoding

To display location names, the Site uses a reverse geocoding service (OpenStreetMap Nominatim). Location coordinates may be sent to that service to retrieve location names.

Geocode.maps.co API

If you choose to manually enter your location, the Site uses the geocode.maps.co free geocoding API to convert city or location names into coordinates. When you enter a location in the manual input box, your search query is sent to geocode.maps.co's servers to retrieve the corresponding latitude and longitude. This service may not always work and is provided by a third party. We have no control over the availability, accuracy, or functionality of this service. Data Storage and Security

Location data obtained via browser geolocation is processed in your browser's memory and is not stored on our servers. Location search queries sent to geocode.maps.co are not stored by us, though geocode.maps.co may log these requests according to their own policies. Standard web server logs are retained according to our hosting provider's policies. We implement reasonable security measures, but no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

Your Rights

• You can deny location access at any time through your browser settings
• You can revoke location permissions in your browser settings
• You can use the Site without providing location data (with limited functionality)

Children's Privacy

This Site is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
